It's such an honor to photograph a couple's love and to know they have trusted me to capture this very special milestone. I know this is just the beginning of a long and exciting adventure, and my goal is to freeze that moment, so that decades from now they can look back on these images and relive these feelings all over again.
When photographing engagements I focus on a few things; natural emotion, love and laughter. Rather than posing too much, I just let things happen. I'll say, "just pretend I'm not here..." and then the giggles, eskimo kisses, and cuddling start happening. Those moments are the ones I'm trying to capture. Those moments are the ones you'll look back on and smile.
Playfulness is the most adorable thing! I just love it when a couple can have fun and be silly! In those moments I capture the most sincere images!
And then there are those sweet moments. The ones where you can just see the love radiate. Those are the tear jerkers for me. It's so beautiful to be able to capture two people in love and to watch them completely disappear into their own world together. Stunning!

I have an obsession for "the look." That image where no words are needed to see the love between two people. You can read it all over their faces, and see it in their eyes. It's such a sweet moment that I love to document.
And of course it wouldn't be an engagement session without a couple images of that gorgeous ring!
