Bridal 2016

Every year I try to put together a fun bridal shoot, and this year I tried to incorporate simple, timeless elegance with Lena's gorgeous silk dresses and the urban setting of this downtown Portland parking garage! Yes, you read that right, a parking garage! Sometimes you find the most amazing backdrops in the most unexpected places!

Chickabloom Floral Studio provided the most amazing florals that added the perfect balance to Lena's simple dresses. I wanted something a little wild to take center stage with the florals to create a good look with the setting, and I loved everything about it!

A couple times a year a group of (very talented) friends and I get together for a fun and artistic photo shoot.

Here are some of the final looks from our session at Magnum Opus, inspired by the street art movement. These looks were created for the Oribe Front Row Instagram Contest this month.

I included some behind the scenes shots to get a feel for what goes on!

Enjoy!

"This is your life. Do what you love, and do it often:
If you don't like something, change it.
If you don't like your job, quit.
If you don't have enough time, stop watching tv.
If you are looking for the love of your life, stop; they will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love.
Stop over analyzing, all emotions are beautiful.
When you eat, appreciate every last bite.
Open your mind, arms, and heart to new things and people, we are united in our differences.

Ask the next person you see what their passion is, and share your inspiring dream with them.
Travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself. Some opportunities only come once, seize them.
Life is about the people you meet, and the things you create with them so go out and start creating.
Life is short. Love your dream and share your passion."
