Crystal & Krisha | Maternity

My dear cousin and her wife are expecting their first baby boy, NOW! I am so excited for these two incredible women to become mothers to without a doubt, the cutest little boy, Kaius!

I was so blessed to be able to travel to Iowa to photograph their maternity session in January and I was blown away by the love these two have for each other. The entire session was playful, fun and full of giggles! Despite extremely cold weather and frozen hands and toes, you could see the anticipation and excitement in their eyes from start to finish!

Crystal and Krisha have been friends since they were kids. They both loved to run and play sports, but Crystal also loved dancing. Krisha loves to dance, too, and she's always been the one to help Crystal learn dance moves and choreography. When Crystal found out she was pregnant, she was excited for her friend's baby to be born.

Capturing a child is an intriguing and brief an open door. In contrast to wedding photography, for instance, infant kid photography will not repeat. The infant stage is over instantly, and that is the reason it's a valuable memory to record.
